Spring Bucket List

The weather is starting to warm up, the early plants are starting to force their way through the dirt, and the birds have returned with their happy songs. It feels like a great time to start your bucket list for this spring. Your list can contain anything you want, some productive to-do items, some adventures, and let’s make sure to include some things that remind us of being a kid.

April hath put a spirit of youth in everything. – William Shakespeare

Here are some ideas to get you started:

  • Make a bird feeder
  • Watch the sunrise
  • Play Hopscotch
  • Go bird watching (or listening for their songs)
  • Blow bubbles
  • Jump in a puddle
  • Make homemade ice cream or popsicle
  • Go to a Farmer’s Market
  • Nap in a hammock
  • Read a book outside
  • Start composting
  • Place a game of mini golf
  • Wash your car
  • Fly a kite
  • Go to a petting zoo
  • Make a dandelion wish
  • Go for a horseback ride
  • Find a fun pair of rain boots
  • Grill your dinner
  • Find a rainbow
  • Take an evening stroll
  • Go for a scenic drive
  • Start a sketchbook
  • Play frisbee
  • Plant some herbs in containers
  • Go fishing
  • Play in the rain

This is the time of year to get outside with your camera. Whether you are taking selfies or taking shots of the first plants of the season, it’s a great time of year to start a visual journal of what you have done in 2018.  Or if you are more of a writing person, go ahead and start a new journal to record your growth for this year.
